ABOUT ME
After graduating from Clarion with an English major and French minor, I wanted to be a journalist. My career path, though, veered toward teaching, and I obtained English teaching certification at Pitt. Right away I began teaching English, French, and journalism at Hollidaysburg Area Junior High School, and then high school French for a year near Pittsburgh. Returning for my Masters in adult education, I discovered my passion for teaching English to speakers/ writers of other languages. I taught ESL for three years, and have returned for my doctorate in Composition & TESOL.
